Based on the study "Predicted infection risk for aerosol transmission of SARS-COV-2" (PIRA%), the Technical University of Berlin, under the leadership of Martin Kriegel, has developed an infection computer for rooms.

With the help of this tool you can calculate the probability (PIRA%) with which another person could be infected after a certain time. As a basis, it is assumed that there is an infected person in the room.

The calculator needs the length, width and height of the room. The number of people in the room and the amount of supply air from an air purifier must also be specified. You can also adjust the activity of people in the room, whether mouth and nose protection is worn and how the room is ventilated.

We assume poor ventilation to make it clear what an air purifier can do. Air purifiers can also be combined as required to purify larger amounts of air. Noise minimization and selective use of the air purifier is possible by combining several devices.

In the field "Additional available amount of virus-free air" you can choose between the performance * of a KA-520 L, XL or XXL:
